YES! The Lorax is a fun movie with an important message
My family and I went to see The Lorax in 3D this weekend. It was a great movie and very funny. The message of the story was about not focusing on what something is, but think about what it can become. Once-ler chopped down one tree and promised not to chop others. He didn’t think about what his business would become. So he chopped down all the trees until there were none.
I liked when the Once-ler gave the boy the last seed and told him to plant it in the middle of town and make people care about trees. People did care and the seed grew into a Truffula tree.
The most important message was in a stone The Lorax left behind that said Unless. His message was that, Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not. That means that if nobody cares about things, nothing will happen.
This movie is great for both kids and adults. And people who care about trees.
